My tire shop quoted me the same for the MTs but that included mount and balance. Decided to go with the nitto 555s because they were $25 cheaper a tire and had the same treadwear rating.
You can order from tire rack and other places for cheaper but then you gotta pay shipping and to have them mounted/balanced so it really all comes out the same. Plus you usually get free rotations if you buy them from a shop.

555's suck. Go with the street comps for street tires.

What did you not like about the 555s? Reason I chose them over the MTs was because of the wet traction. Heard the mickeys didn't like wet roads at all.

I have tried all sorts of actual street tires. I usually roll around on drag radials. But when I do not it's on the street comps. They are the only ones that decently hook up for me

Get them OP. They are the best " street tire " hands down.

I'm on them right now

They are good. I have not hit them on the bottle, But they are decent for me on motor alone. Best as far as a actual street tire

You heard wrong. You might have had someone confused who didn't know MT made an actual street tire and thought you were talking about ET streets or something. Nittos also run narrow as hell and I say that from personal experience. My old Nitto 555R 315 was only a hair wider than my current BFG 275s. If the OP's price is with mount/balance included that is a great deal. Even if it doesn't that is still without and shipping costs which can range $50-$100 depending on who it is.
