Born and raised in Los Angeles, California. I'm not fond of change, No matter how bad the laws are here... I can't go anywhere else. I'd hate myself for it.

It's about 80* right now in Corpus Christi, Texas. We're supposed to cool down to the high 40's tonight. I've been working on my car all week. It's been lovely.

When I first came on this forum, someone mentioned parking their car for the winter, I thought they were crazy. Who would ever want to park their car?

I couldn't do it. I wouldn't mind driving a beater when it's wet or it snows. But I couldn't go for months without driving it.

I could only imagine. I've been on the west coast briefly in Oregon. We were catching a plane in Portland and decided to leave early so we could see the ocean. It was a big ol cliff, but very cool.

Been to San Diego. The only place I had ever felt colder water was in Maine. You may have a point, that water could wake the dead back to living.

I'll take Padre Island anytime.
