Niche brand wheels - thoughts?

I saw an ad on this site for Niche Wheels. CJ's is carrying them. I'm not familiar with this brand but some of the styles look cool. Anyone here familiar with in terms of quality and what they might compare with?

Niche Road Wheels | Mustang Wheels at CJ Pony Parts

Thanks in advance!

I was looking into them but I found that rovos had better quality looking wheels than niche did and were around the same style. Still looking around tho but niche seems like a alright brand for the price they offer

Haven't heard anything bad about them. I've been looking at the Apex ones. Then there's Enkei, Forgestars and Foose. Decisions decisions. I'm going for some lighter wheels+tires than stock and obviously ones that I like and are in my budget.

I like my niche apex wheels. No problems for the last 2000 miles they have been on.

they seem like a decent wheel, maybe a 1/2 step or so above American Muscle or SVE wheels

By any chance do you guys know the weight of each wheel? I looked at the specs on AMs website but they don't have the weight listed.

I want to say 20 something pounds or near the same as stock. I saw the weight listed somewhere online.

Socal.stangman, did you notice much of a difference in felt.acceleration due to the higher mass of the milans? I am considering them but am worried about the weight.

heavier weight effects acceleration, braking distance, suspension performance, and ride quality. Oh and fuel consumption. Not to mention larger rubber adds weight too. You may spend more on lighter stronger wheels but it will save you money in the end just my experience.

Unfortunately I do not have the budget for some forged wheels or ultra lightweight wheels and I do not want to go any smaller than 19's which makes things harder.

I am fine with a slight dip in performance due to the increase in unsprung weight but was just trying to grasp how much of a difference it is vs stock.

Keep in mind street use only you won't likely notice too much maybe milage the most. If you stay 19 you should have no trouble landing around 25 pounds. 19 inch rubber is lighter for the most part tire rack lists all the weights there. Depending on tire size choice of brand saving weight there will help too. At the end of the day for street driven cars it might not matter to you. Really depends on your goals.

I do mostly city driving anyway so my mileage is already pretty down in the dumps- so even a 5% drop in MPG would be less than 1mpg.

I didnt realize tire rack lists tire weights- that helps. Thanks!

Yeah that website is a great resource. Has all the specs. Just because tires have the same size on the sidewall doesn't mean they are the same size. Take the different tires you are considering and compare.

I bought the Niche Targas from AM and have been very happy. They came well packaged and flawless when they arrived (and still are). One of the best upgrades I've done to my car by a mile.
