Anyone running 20x9.5 all around with 40mm offset?

Hello im looking at switching out rims for my mustang. Ive become a fan of 20" rims, im looking at either 8.5 or 9.5 all around i prefer to rotate my tires, however the offset available is only 40mm, is this to large of an offset? I prefer to nothing larger than a 5/16 spacer, will i encounter any problems? Rubbing, ect?

I run a 19X9.5 all the way around with a +35 offset...tires are 285/35/19 front and rear. They line up just about flush with the fenders. With a +40 offset the rims would sit 5mm further in from the fender lips. Of course it also depends on the backspacing and if your car is lowered or not wether you would have any rubbing issues. My car is lowered 1" in the rear only and I don't have any issues. Hope this helps.
