Dent rim repair or replace??

The roads were semi wet when I made a serious sharp left. I flatlined it and toke a nip on the median! (Like an idiot)

Yup. So is it worth repairing? Or just replacing it? Suggestions please?

SVT rim
17 inch

Thanks for looking!

That's a pretty good dent and curb rash. My opinion would be to have a wheel shop take a look at it and give you their honest opinion

I think they COULD repair it, but I don't know how good it would be.

I agree. It's pretty bad... I'll take look around and get a few estimates. Thank you for responding

I have had rims repaired and they come out nice. The chrome makes it a replace. Usually they put it on a machine and press out the bend. It will likely crack the chrome plating and they would have to re chrome. For an SSR wheel with a very minor lip bend from a pothole was about 150 for straighten and repaint. I would guess at least 200 if they have to re chrome.

Looked again and is that just polished? If so you should be able to repair no problem probably cheaper than a new one. Straighten re polish.

You can always check ebay or Craigslist for a used one you never know someone might be selling just one.

Worth a try, thank you Jay! Was considering selling them to buy official cobra rims but I doubt anyone wants it in this condition. Honestly like atrocious...

I have had worse than your problem
repaired and couldn't tell the repair
Once I got the rim back. Cost me $125 vs $400 for a new rim. Good luck
