inside and outside

Okay so I curbed my tire and it looks like crap.
The tire is non directional however each side says
"inside" and the other says "outside"
why is this? I was hoping I could have the tire re mounted so the curbed side is inward and not seen.

It says inside and outside because the tire was designed to shed water in a certain direction, much like a directional tire

If you want to do it correctly, have both of the tires on the same axle turned around on their rims and then put the bad tire and wheel on the opposite side of the car where the damaged sidewall will be on the inside and the tire will be rotating in the correct direction.

Forget what I just said about re-mounting your tires Hello... They're asymmetrical. Your car will handle like a turd if you do it and wet traction will also suffer.

Try some Tire Shine!
