gt wheels on v6

i had a 19x9 wheels on my v6
and there was rubbing on each side
but from the left side the tires rubs at the inner fender
from the right the rim it self rubs in one of the car parts it self (im not sure if you guys call it the arms, i know in my Arabic we call it that) in other words rim rubs with metal not just the fender
is that normal ?
or is there something wrong with my car?
another question is
im going to put a 20x8.5 infront and 20x10 in the back fro my new rims
will be there any rubbing caused by these?

thanks in advance

You need steer stops. American Muscle sells them for under 15 bucks. I had the same issue. I went from 17" on my V6 to 19" GT rims. Took me less than half an hour to install them. Problem solved!

This is normal, I have two sets of the brembo pack wheels for my car, and my tires hit the inside of the wheel well, and the wheel hits the lower, rear edge of the control arm. Both of these will be solved by installing the GT steering stops.

Proving to my fellow racers that the disdain that some GT drivers have for V6 drivers is unfounded, one results archive at a time since 2013.
