Do these tires need replaced?

So ill be the first to admit I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to tires. These are Nitto Nt555's on my 03 GT. Clearly this is not a "good thing" but I was wondering if it is really that bad? How long will the tires last? This is only happening on my rear tires which are 285/35-18 if that matters. Also if there are any products that will prevent this from getting worse please let me know because being on a College Budget im trying to steer clear of spending $500 on two tires...

Damn!
It looks like those tires might have gotten excessively hot at some point!

Not sure what could have caused that...

Are they cracked like that across the entire tread?

I don't remember ever see a tire do that.
Nevertheless, like everyone stated above, they definitely need to be replaced.
If you need to use the tires until August, keep a close eye on them! Watch for any separation of the tread.

I've put all my tires to the test and you will definitely make it to August lol. As long as you don't do burnouts and race etc
