Will 15 wheels fit on a 14?

Almost bought 15 wheels to put on my 14. Luckily someone from here told me the offset is different and that they wouldn't fit. I tried looking online and couldn't find much. I assume he's right though. 15 tires won't fit on a 14, right?

Hey Back,

They will actually fit no problem! We've swapped a few back and forth and have no issues.

The only thing you really need to worry about is brake clearance but that should not be an issue in your case.

Most S197/S550 wheels will interchange without a problem. I actually installed my '14 wheels on my Girlfriends 2007 and a good friend of mine runs 14' wheels on his 15'!`

Hope this helps!

-Will

Good luck Back! Which style S550 wheels are you looking to pick up? I'm sure they'll look great!

Those would look great on your 14 man!

I hope everything works out for you.

If for any reason it doesn't shoot me a PM and I can get your ride on some wheels for a great price

Alright boys I got'em. Cleaned them up nice last night and they look really good. I haven't put them on yet because I want to order a set of black lugs. Well that and because I want to burn off these 18's before I sell the rims to my friend. I don't know why he doesn't want the tires, but oh well. So I'll have them on some time soon here. Pics to come.

What kind of tires and what's the mileage?

Just curious before you burn them up?

I've read that the hub size is slightly bigger on the 2015. Therefore the 2015 would fit a 2014, but there would be more space between the hub and the center of the wheel. I'm not sure if that even matters, I know that people debate whether hub centric wheels actually have a function besides helping to center the wheel when mounting it vs. actually supporting the car in any way. Any ideas?

Did the TPMS sync up? Thought I read somewhere on here the 15s were a different & wouldn't sync.

They look great. Need to find some like that for my 14 SGM vert

Will 15 wheels fit on a 14?

Sorry for the late response. Yeah they synced up when I put them on. I got a faulty tire pressure sensor light after a day or so that randomly comes back on every now and then. It goes off after a few hours. It hasn't been on in a week or so though. I'd recommend getting new sensors just because it's annoying when it does go off. So the real answer I guess is both yes and no.

I know that annoyance! I replaced the cluster in my 05 with one from an 09 so it literally went off the entire time you where driving because the 09 cluster had the tpms and the 05 didn't

I put the stock 15/16 silver/gray GT rims on my 14 ( take-offs were much cheaper than new tires - go figure ). Looks wicked. The stock silver rims (base and GT) for the 13s and 14s were simply ugly.

Sweet. They look different, almost custom, and really make the car pop.

Just bought the same set to replaced my stock set. Paid about what I would for new tires as I did for wheels and tires and went up to an 18 vs my 17. Speaking of which, will I need to use my tuner to adjust for 1" difference since it's also a stock size?
