Gorilla Lug Nuts

Does anyone use this lug nut brand? I read some older reviews saying the lug nuts rusted.

Wondering if anyone is having better performance from them.

4yrs oldon mine with no problms but it's a nice day toy. I like they sell packs where all lugs lock. I know they won't prevent all thieves but they will deter lazy ones.

I imagine Florida cars would get a little more rust than most others. I like their locking system, too

to my mechanics eyes I prefer the key on the Gorillas over the Mcgaurds as it SEEMS less likely to cam out. When I got my Gorillas Amazon was selling 24 packs of locks for $1 more than the 20 pack I figured if I ever lost one it was worth it. Get an extra key and wrap it in tape to protect your rims from scratches and write your phone # on it in case you ever leave it at a shop.

I installed Gorilla lug nuts with locking nuts this morning that I bought from Amazon for $11.99 with free shipping.

These were 'like new' because they had 'jumped' out of their 'assigned seats' in the package. They look nice. No scratches or nicks.

That's a great idea to put tape inside the lug wrench to prevent scratches when installing/removing lug nuts!

Good to hear reviews. I need tuner style nuts for my rims and Gorilla is one brand I'm looking at. They sell 23 packs for Jeeps (same threads and states they fit Mustangs). I guess the extra 3 are for the spare on a Jeep but would just be backups for me.

Just a quick update a year+ after the original post.

The lug nuts still look nice. If I look close to the locking lug nut, I can see a little rust in some of the grooves. Nothing bad and I have to look intentionally to see it. I'd still purchase these again.
