Rim and tire question

Hey everyone, I'm sure this has already been covered but I have an 05 GT. Can I simply swap out rims and tires from say a 15 and have no problems? I think they are all 114.3 but I want to be sure before I pull the trigger on them.

They are in fact the same 114.3 dia bolt circle.
The only difference is the lug bolt and nut size. They changed from the 1/2" (20UNF) to the slight larger 14mmx1.5 metric size.

Ok so I would have to get new lugs and bolts? I'm guessing they wouldn't come with them if they were someone's take off rims.

Not sure on this but the new metric 14mm is so close to the 1/2" I thought I saw someone talk about lug nuts that fit the 1/2" bolts but are shaped for the '15/'16 rims.
But I'd have to check that one out.
I did wonder, but never saw any mention of the holes in the rim being any larger.

I found someone that put the older type rims on the 2015 but not the other way.
I would check suppliers for 1/2" lugs nuts that are compatible with the 2015 rims. If they have such a thing.

Great thanks! Maybe I'll just save myself all the trouble and go with 2014 and under.
