13-14 GT500 - How wide are you rear tires?

Just curious to hear from anyone who put on wider tires on the rears.

I know 285 is stock. I want to go wider and heard it can only go to 295 but then I read someone has 315 and I find that kind of hard to believe. I plan to put Michelin Pilot Super Sports on the rear

Overall tire height, wheel offset, brand of tire and if you're lowered all make a difference.

............305/35-20 MT Street Comp. on a 10.5" wheel.
.
Have read that tire widths vary from MFG. to MFG., and there are people running a 315 on 11" wheels, but have no details.

I have 305-35-20 on a 1.5 lowered cortex street coil over suspension and they do touch every now and then. For me that is not a problem because the car looks sick

If you are using the stock GT500 wheels and how much the car is lowered.
Although mine wasn't a GT500 I did have the OE GT500 wheels and the car was lowered with Sportline springs. The 285's fit fine and I could have gone to 295's although 315's would have been really close because of the offset of the OE wheels. The 295's were about 1/4" taller than the 295's and 315's were 3/4" taller.

You can do 315 with a 47mm offset on the rear wheels, I just wanted to keep the ability of interchange all 4 so I kept it down to 305 with 45mm wheels on all corners, 47mm wheels were very expensive.
