Help me decide: Bridgestone Potenza S04 Pole Position vs. Conti ExtremeContact DW
255/40-19 (stock Perf Pack size). I'm currently running the Conti ExtremeContact DW purchased nearly two years ago. Not much tread life left and I just patched one of them a second time (yay construction debris in the road). Figured I'd bite the bullet and replace at least two tires since there isn't much tread life left.
Price and ratings for each tire are pretty comparable on TireRack, so was hoping some of the fine MeVoers might have comparative experience with both. If so, would love your input!
My driving style is a mix of daily commuting and spirited driving. I recently changed jobs, so I'm only commuting about one-third the distance I was, so that should help in the tread wear department.
I have a separate set of wheels with winter tires for when the snow flies.
