Help me decide...

About to pull the trigger on a set of Downforce wheels and can't decide on the finish.
My car is a 14 GT in Ingot Silver. I currently run the stock Track Pack wheels which I've plastidipped black forever ago. I love the black wheels, but I'm intrigued by the platinum finish available on the Downforce wheels and maybe its time for a change.
Can't find any good pics on a silver car for reference though. Anyone out there have the platinum Downforce?
What are y'alls opinions - black or platinum?
Btw- I'm also painting my Brembo calipers Monster green to match other accents on the car (which makes me lean toward black wheels, but I'm unsure)
Help! Lol

not a fan of silver/silver. With a plain color (no offense) it needs some pop.

caution this is the opinion of someone who picked Race Red so it's skewed

No offense taken - I don't like silver on silver (including chrome or machined finishes), but thinking of getting away from black wheels and this 'color' looked like it might be enough contrast. Just hard to tell.

If it were me, I'd go with the black for contrast. Either will look amazing.

Couple of other shots on an identical (nearly) car to mine.

I don't know about anybody else but the whole black out thing has run it's course. I like the look of those wheels against the silver paint. Again I say, Get Those!

Not sure if you saw this or not, but LMR has Downforce wheels on sale (20x8.5, graphite) for $75 each:

I can't decide between 2 colors and you wanna add a 3rd one? Lol
I like them, but looks like all they have are the 8.5" left and I'm wanting to run a staggered setup.

Help me decide...

I think the platinum looks good with the silver.
As Ox said black on silver has been done to death.

Pick your poison.

I like them too, it's a nice compromise between the two. For $75 they're a steal. Really wish they had 10" available.

I just bought a set and tires from tire rack. Just need a set of tpms sensors and I'll be set for mount and balance.

I was going to buy the AMR set from AM but they never went on sale less than $99 and they only have 10" wide so not an option.

I want same size around for rotation purpose so this was perfect.

Now get these on and sell mine (about 1500 miles on them lol)

I have black wheels on my silver stang and I like it, but I agree it's a very common trend. I like the way those look. I saw some pictures with the graphite color too that was tempting when I was in the market for buying.

I would get the wheels you have listed. They look great and would look nice against your color. Take some pictures once you get them
