New Rubber

After running for a year in the wear bars I am finally searching for a new set of tires for the 02 GT.

245/45/17 if my memory serves me correctly.

Likely going with an all season with a directional pattern. Ideas are welcome.

Looking for mileage, looks, and daily driving handling. There is the occassional drag strip pass and mountain road run.

Go 255/45-17 for a meatier look. That's what I'm doing. Continental Extremecontact. These are all season since I drive "all season". If I was summer only, I'd probably chose BFGoodrich G-Force sport comp. That's just me though. Kinda like paint colors and mufflers, everyone will have their own opinion based on their experience.

That 255 would be just I bit wider, but also comes at a price of being taller.

....or am I wrong.

255/45 would be approx. half an inch taller and wider.
