First world problems

Can’t decide between 3 different wheels. I like the SVE R350 wheels from lmr, the RTR Tech mesh wheel and the 2013 GT500 style wheels from AM. I like the RTR wheels a little more than the GT500 wheels because they have some concave to them. Either of those wheels would be a 19x9.5 square setup. The SVE wheels would be a 10 up front and a 11 out back. My wife says to go with the staggered setup since I’m always drooling over them when I see some wide tires in the back but the sensible person in me wants to do a square setup so I can rotate my tires and prolong the life of them. My share setup will be 275/40/19 and my staggered setup would be 285/3519 up front and 305/35/19 out back. More tire than I need for my stock gt but I love the way it looks. I don’t track the car or street race but I really want to change the look of the car with some new wheels and wider tires. At most you might catch me doing some spirited driving around some curvy backroads. The SVE wheels aren’t back in stock until March 29 so I have some time to make up my mind.
Found some photos of race red mustang with the different wheels I want so I already have an idea of how they will look and I like all 3.

If you like all three about equally well....go with the lightest one. Your 0 to 60 times and your mpg will thank you.

You can Google more results but you can also start here:

I was narrowing it down to the rtr and sve wheels. I think the rtr are 23#, the sve are 24#. Price was really the main reason I was keeping the gt500 wheels in consideration but I also like the way they look too.

Depends on how those compare to the wheels you have on the car now.....if the new wheels are heavier, you will regret it. Look up “rotational resistance” — even your braking distances increase with heavier wheels as it takes more braking power to get them to STOP rotating, as it does energy to get them moving again.
I went with much heavier chrome wheels (they WERE so pretty!!) on my 2008 Corvette and they completely changed the way the car accelerated and handled.

Yeah, I stumbled across some forums talking about that when I was searching wheels. I’m currently running 2017 gt/cs stock wheels on my 14 gt/cs.

AM wheels have **** clearcoat and need a bunch of weights to balance up.

Regardless, hopefully you know not to ever use wheel cleaner on whatever you get. Dawn and hot water and that's it.

Had some AM wheels on my last mustang for a year with no problem, used the same soap on the wheels that I used on the car.

Yeah that is fine too, just as long as you don't use the spray "rim cleaner". Its acidic and eats up rims.
