So with the GT i have to worry about clearing the upgraded brakes and rotors on the front and rear, but would rather not run 20s if at all possible. Does anyone have any experience on trying this setup? I would think spacers would help clear it, but would they really and if so what size?
The offset has to be at least +32mm or +35mm I believe in the front and the hub centric ring aka the center of the rim where the wheel cap would go plays a role as well. Baer has templates on their site for 6 piston big brake kits to see if a rim would fit their brakes. I am not sure if Brembo has brake templates for wheel clearance. I have 18inch rims with a +35mm offset for 14" Baer EradiSpeed +1 rotors in the front with only 4 or 5mm of space before hitting the rim on my 12 v6. That was with stock calipers being pushed out further so your brembo 4 or 6 piston will need slightly more clearance. 19inch rims are usually safe to clear brembo brakes. Any good rim website will have you put in your year and make of car and only show you rims that fit with the premium model brembo brakes. Some websites like http://www.caliwheels.com/custom-wheels-rims https://www.socalcustomwheels.com/www.carid.com
