Decided on wheels + tires

My tax return money should be here in about a week or two, and I've finally made up my mind on what wheels and tires I'm going to get.

Here's the wheels:

10th Anniversary Cobras (17x9) in Argent Gray aka Gunmetal.

And tires --

Kumho Ecsta Supra 712's in 275/40/17

I also think that at the same time I will be painting my calipers red and changing my mustang rear lettering to black. I'm also going to remove the ford chick white decals and the white magnaflow decals. The only other decals I'm going to install are the v6stangs.com ones when they come in. Finally... if I get myself some nice smoked clear corner headlights i'll be all set with my red/blackness hehe Feedback is appreciated

What feedback do you want? Not bad tires, good value. Those 10th anni Cobras don't go with your body kit whatsoever.

275/40/17 is the size you want.

Geeze... you guys don't think they look good with the kit? Then I think I might just reconsider chrome 95 R's or 98 Cobras.

I wasn't meaning to be rude, but what feedback are you looking for?

10th anni are old skool, and your kit is, well, "modern", that's all i'm saying.

yeah those 10th anniversary would look good on a 67.. not a new stang. Chrome 95 cobra Rs would be sweet

Ok... here's a comparison of before and after. By the way, the after also has my spoiler removed and replaced by the s281 which I will be doing soon as well.

Yeah... don't mind the tires, it's just a photochop job, not accurate, yet at least. But those Kumho 712's in 275/40/17 are the ones I'm going to get with the wheels.

I actually will still be running 245/45/17s on the front of the GT on my Cobra Rs til I wear them out, then will go to 275/40s all around.

The 10th anniv. Cobras is one of the wheels I looked at for my GT as well, I ran up on a bargain on the first two 95 cobra R replicas, then lucked up on the two used ones just recently. I have like 525 shipped in a set of 4 chrome 95 Cobra Rs, not bad, two of them are new, 1 is like new, 1 has a bit of curb rash.

I think they will look good, your body kit is a bit different, but its yours and that is what you wanted, so nothing wrong with it. Is that fiberglass or more like the original material? What does the back of your car look like, not sure if I have ever seen that? I am glad to see you are getting rid of that spoiler, I did see one on a 4 door civic not long ago after I saw someone mention some civics having them. It really looks out of place on your car. I think the 10 anniv. Cobras are a good choice, the stock 99 spoiler looks a lot better than that thing you have on it now, and the one you are getting is nice too. I was going to switch to an 01 spoiler, guy was giving me one, but he never got around to shipping it, not sure what happened, I was going to pay the shipping, I guess he was too busy. He just got married and sold his stang.

Here's the latest version of my photoshopped stang.

I think the Steeda sidewinder decals would look good on it. And I also plan on changing my rear bumper's mustang lettering to black as well.

Is that white, chrome or stainless steel? Don't think I have ever seen a rear bumper like that? I guess its ok, that goes with the front one? All the same kit? I would loose the extensions personally, but I guess they are ok....Look on the Crossroadzdirect add at the extensions he has on there, he has some nice ones you may like.

You ever think of putting honeycomb on the back of it? Crossroads sells the CDC honeycomb, that guy is real nice, I am going to buy an exhaust system from him, was going to get two rims, but I found those two used ones instead.

Heh. I'm sure a lot of things would look good, but for the time being, wheels and the spoiler are my only priorities (and the only things I can afford at the moment!). Thanks for looking for me tho

I hear that, I just spent like almost 200 on MM bushings, for the IRS and my rack, plus the rims, just in the last two months, have to shell out 200 for the labor on the swap, and maybe extra for the bushings to be installed, not even sure about that, probabably going to cost a least a little more, figure its the best time while its out on the floor though, lol. Also going to spend money for a new cat back since my Magnaflow system is going with my rear end on the swap, it wouldn't fit with the IRS rear end, darn it!

i dont kno wif i already said this, but you photoshopped at least 18's maybe 19's by the looks of it. very large wheels compliment what you're going for, but 17's won't be big enough to look as good. size it down to about 17's and you'll see what i mean. just trying to help.
