Re: new rims

17x8 front and a 255 tire to save money as a 9 inch wide front wont make any real difference, plus tires are cheaper. If you do go with a 9 wide front rim you must go with a 275 wide tire though.

in thinkin y 17 x 8 with 245 45 17 an 17 x 10.5 with 315 35 17

is this a good combo?

Carlos,
I have those on mine. They don't rub and you'll love them.

Those are 315/35/17 on 10.5X17 on the back. The fronts are 9X17 but I can't remember the tire size. It's snowing outside and I'm warm by the fireplace. I'll get back to you tomorrow on that!

I really like this car. It has the Steeda Stage 1 suspension, much lower, and doesn't rub.

Unfortunately it's sidelined at the moment with a rod hanging out of the oil pan.

I did get a new Bullitt out of the deal, though!

Re: new rims

edross,
I like that stance on your car. It reminds me of what we did to our cars in 1965-1968. I've noticed a number of muscle cars in the area reversing the "slam it into the weeds" look. Educate me on how you did that.
Cool ride, Ed.
Jim
