And So It Begins Part 1...

So I'm going to begin the rebuild of my 2004 3.9L Mustang and I plan on replacing any worn out parts with aftermarket/ perfomance parts. I don't know if it's happened to anyone else, but my exhaust has already split on me once and sounds like it's getting ready to again. I plan on solving this problem by purchasing an aftermarket system. Here's the wierd thing, I really would like to keep the single exhaust but still add performance. Any ideas?

you can always go with a wider pipe. 2.5" should be a good size.

most people get duals with 2.25" and going to 2.5" would lose too much backpressure. but with a single pipe, 2.5" is reasonable, or at least i think so.
