You are missing something...he wants you to come up with a number that you are willing to pay for the car. Your posts have made him think you are interested and he wants you to make an offer. Until then, I'm not sure he has a number in mind fully...just a rough guess or something.

So, post up what you are offering him, although I am quite sure you aren't shopping for a car at the moment....or...maybe you are.

Re: Just testing the waters

I know he want me to make an offer, and if I were interested my offer would probably be the same as the original offer. I was pressing him to see the ballpark figure of what he thought his car was worth in his eyes and what a non insulting offer would be. I asked for a ballpark in several post and all he can do is defend who trick the car is. I know what the car is worth; I am interested in what he thinks its worth, that’s all. I am going to try one more time, 2kStang5.0 WHAT DO YOU WANT FOR YOUR CAR, $3,000, $5000, $10,000, $20,000, $100,000 PICK ONE

u dont have to apoligize dude, he asked for opinions and u gave him one. if he doesnt like yours, oh well, he asked for one. me personally, i would not give no more than 3 for it, if u wanted a 5.0 u could buy the 94-95's. not only that, most of the time, those swaps are done half assed.

Meh, I just thought it was funny that he said it was 'too much' car for me. Or that I couldn't afford it.

^^ after seeing your car today, I know it's not a shopping cart. your car can't move. At least you can push a shopping car around.

It's more like a bassanet right now...I could rock someone to sleep in it with the current tripod stance it has working.

The whole raging on the car thing i deffinately hate that and i only compared your car to a shoping cart because you compared mine to a power wheel or something and i did some research on that 460 now im deffinately certain that your car with the 460 cant beat my bridgeported turbo 2.....i mean my "Long Named Car" weighs slightly over 2 thousand pounds with over 500HP on a mild tune so that argument is deffinately done venom.

Re: Just testing the waters

Now about my work I did very good work on my conversion the reason why i didnt go for a 94 or 95 is because i like the 99+ mustangs more and i also wanted to be slightly unique. My 2k stang has a good fuel injected 5.0. Thats what i wanted in anycase i read so many posts where people ask if it could be done but alot of people tried to convince them it was too much trouble so i did it. and Keep in mind the 5.0 is hella easy to mod because the amount of companies that make all kinds of things for these motors is incredible

Re: Just testing the waters

I guess if someone wants a 99+ mustang with a fuel injected 5.0 they can do one of three things.....(1) build it themselves ((have fun with that by the way lol)) (2) Pay someone to build it for you ((U might need a good amount of cash for that)) (3) Come up with a good offer to me ;0) ((Cheaper than paying someone an insane ammount of money to do it and saves you alot of trouble)) best option is 3

One more thing.....Its kinda funny how modular2valve continues to put his two cents in when he obviously has some sort of vision problem or a slight mental retardation....i mean i dont understand why he still doesn't understand that 150 shot of NOS means that it isnt 12's all motor....modular....dude honestly.....go back to driving a honda

Re: Just testing the waters

yall two need to kiss and make up.

I see it this way. without ever seeing pics of your car I say it's worth 3grand. 4k tops, and that's if it is a show car. Sorry to tell you but a car is worth what it's worth. no matter how much time and money you put into it. I've built many cars in my lifetime. And depending on the car sometimes you can make more money parting a car out than selling it out right. that's just the way it is. sorry.

A. I don't have a 460 car. I had an 81 hatch project I was putting a 460 in, however sold it as my plans have changed.

B. Had I put the 460 in it, it would have been putting down in the range of 600 rwhp and tq (FYI, it was a 460 based 545 cubic inch torque monster)...and the car would have weighed in around 2600 pounds....with my fat *** in the car.

C. The car I'm referring to is my 03 cobra....that is a 10 second car....and I could do it with the top down.

None the less, all Cobra GT was asking for was what you were hoping to hear. You obviously haven't heard it...so he wants to know what you were thinking or hoping we would all come back with.

Dang a 10 second cobra....what year is that? And i'll see what i can do about the video....Man I doubt i'll sell the stang now i'll just keep it because i still in fact like my car....and i deffinately think parting it out would gross more cash. Oh and the Honda thing.....LMAO that was great u should just use a 4cyl stang for getting to work because hondas are....hondas

What's worse I'm seeing now is newer RSX owners are removing the Acura symbol and replacing it with the red Honda SI badge.

Re: Just testing the waters

still no pictures?

I dont see the logic in putting a stock HO 5 liter that does perform well in the fox bodies into the heavier 99-04 body style. I call bs also on it being in the 12's with just a 150 shot since you looking at a mid-high 15sec time slip with that motor in stock form. Considering the fox bodies were in the high 14's but you just gained alot of weight with the body of the car in general.
