springs

I love the **** out of my mustang, even though it can be a *****. but I almost got rid of it because i needed a truck so i could start racing my quad again. but i found a trailer and hitch that will fit on my car. my problem is that i'm afraid it will bottom out way too much. it bottoms out a lot as is. My question is does anyone know of another spring from another vehicle that will fit that has a way higher spring rate? i thought maybe ranger or taurus but i honestly havent got a clue. i know the rears now are like 200 lbs. i thought maybe a 300lb to 400lb spring would be the cure???

Re: springs

I know for a fact they make hitches for your car, as far as payload I am not 100% sure sure but you can get an idea by looking in the door jam on the drivers side, the gross weight is the amount that the car and everything in it/pulling is not over that. Your car is 3100-3300lbs as it sits so subtract out and see what you come up with to figure out what you can tow
