First thing is to do is put key in ignition and turn just short on the "ign" position, this will let you push the brake and pull the shifter into first, turn off key. On the front (dash) side of handle will be a small hole (you'll need a 5/64 allen wrench), insert the allen wrench and loosen the set screw and screw it almost all the way out. Now with a twisting-pulling motion pull up on handle up, be carefull not to pull to hard there are two wires in there for the OD switch. And there you have it, handle in hand.
