Unhappy Help with removing headers

I have a blown headgasket that im replace with a fel-pro gasket set..

1. How do i remove the headers, its a tight spot to get any tools????? Any tips will help...

2. How smooth does the surface need to be after removing the gasket the heads are not warped or damage???

94 3.8l coupe

94 Mustang 3.8L v6 Project Black Out... Lookin to rebuilt, add some +HP, and let the stang to its thang....
