I seen the answer to this before but I couldnt find the thread. My accelerator sits far too low than its supposed to. It has about two inches of play when I lift it up. How do I go about fixing this? I know theres some way to tighten the cable but I do not know how. thanks,

Re: cable?

Take a couple of fat zip ties and pull the cable through the pedal.

Re: cable?

push in the petal and if you hear the throttle body under the hood (open the hood when you do this) click (all the way open) you are good. If you put a spacer on the petal to raise it up the cable will just get stretched over time back to where it was~ this is what happened to me.

And then you put a bigger spacer in....
