I can't tell if it's a 3.8 and 3.9

i have a 04 v6 and on the enginebay sticker it just says V6. No where does it say 3.8 or 3.9, and my buddy told me 04s come with both 3.9s and 3.8s. Does anyone no where it would say what the size is?

i thought they had only one size that year but i guess you could call a ford dealer and get them to run your vin number.

+1. It doesn't really matter what you have, it's the same motor either way...

^^^ It's because they used some left over windstar parts in the motor that caused a .1 increase in displacement.
