Update!

Test fitting, the radiator hose is moving.

I think the longer this goes on, the slower we are working. But we have now accomplished the following:

PCV delete, here's the cute little breathers! They aren't the same but you can hardly see the one on the passenger side.

We finished up the exhaust finally after I got the right hangers...

We got the intercooler installed! YAAAAY! Here's a shot of where we had to cut to get the piping to fit to the intercooler...

I ordered an aftermarket coolant bottle only to find that mine still fits and we got it back on. We also rewired the MAF. We lack hooking up the gauges, putting on the new flex radiator hose, and extending the 02 sensors. We are also working on modifying the A/C hose.

Wendy you need to dump the clear braided tubing. That is designed for low pressure water for a camper. Back in the late 80's they started to use it on Commerical Aircraft and the stuff started busting costing millions of dollars in damage. I was a lead researcher in the elimination of the stuff in aviation. it does not belong in a hot engine bay. You will be asking for trouble later down the road

In moderate heat it will crystalize and crack. it will harden qiuckly and leak at the connection ends rather fast

It came with the setup and I plan on changing it before too long anyway.

and finally........

... the beast is alive! 8:27 PM Brandon had kicked me out of the shop - I think I was making him nervous, readjusted the RR (the valves were staying open) and when he called me back, it started right up! We have the stock MAF and injectors on now. Tomorrow we will go back to the new MAF and injectors then plan our trip to Phoenix to get the dynotune done! YAAAAAAY!

and a word to the wise... if Dan tells you to get Bassani Exhaust, get Bassani Exhaust! It sounds INCREDIBLE!

Big thank you to Tom Yentzer too! He has really helped us out!

I will get some finished pics when I can. There are still a few more small things to do. I am set up for a dyno in a little under a month in Tempe, AZ (5 hrs from me). We will be trailering it somehow. So until then I am going to be going easy on it.

Thanks for all the support, I knew some of you were interested and I didn't want to leave you hanging!
