Hail damage on 08 v6. hood replacement

the estimate is $3859.30.so the hood replacement is needed. it costs 1171.62. Is that just the hood or hood and paint? i think im just going to get the Cervini's Mustang Ram Air Hood (05-09) at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!

cheaper and good looking. what do yuh think?

cervinis is good quality products as of all my dealings, 1000+ for a stock hood is a rip off lol do make sure its not hood and paint though~

for oem ford parts go here http://www.tousleyfordparts.com/ they sell for 10% above cost (they are a ford dealer) you can double check prices you are quoted from ford to see how screwed you are getting

If Kaenen makes anything for S197's then go with them. Best qwuality hoods I've ever seen, makes Cervinis looks cheap and they're awesome.

You could probably do the "dry ice" trick and pop the dents out and put the money in a supercharger.

im afraid the stock hood is so expensive is bc its aluminum. thats why they said i have to replace it. the insurance and body shop both agreed. lol time for the custom hood haha
