Talking Motor

I have a friend that i am getting a 302 from. I know I will have to get better springs up front. Then I know I will have to get a 8.8 rear end. My question is do I have too get a new transmission. I have an 03 V6 automatic transmission(because i have handcontrols)

new tranny will be needed im pretty sure because 302 is pre t5...wait you said auto.

i'm sure it'd have been easier if it were a manual, but i think you'll need a new transmission, so get a manual while your at it and maybe a new ecu?

You could get one made...I'm trying to remember the people who make some good ones, I've been talking to them about a new bellhousing for a truck I'm working on...
