It all depends on your personal preference man. I have Mach1 takeoff's and love the sound. 0 drone at cruising speed but still sounds throaty when I get on it.

I hope Ill beable to get sound clips with my exhaust... wont be very big at all

Longtube headers, Cats, 1 chamber flowmasters, then side exit...ur looking at about 3 to 4' max of exhaust tubing for each side to make sure its emissions safe I might put stock cats, one on each side, then 2 high flow cats, one on each side.

As you can now clearly see, this is all a matter of opinion. Doesn't matter if someone else likes it or not, it's all about what you really want from the sound.

I'm content with my GT takeoffs. Not loud, but sounds throaty at WOT.

It all depends on what you want out of it.

I had a single flow and loved the tone, but the droning got old.

Of course, after working around an active flightline for a few years, you learn to hate engine droning.

How would you discribe the sound of dynomax ultra flo mufflers. Are the loud, do they drone or are they more subtile.

generally, ultraflows are loud, ive heard turbo coupes and turbo dodges with em, and they only mellow the sound a little bit, enough to make it tolerable

Dynomax Ultraflows are no way loud on a stock V6. They are half as loud inside the car as Flowmasters which I took off after 3 days of constant droning. Now if you have a big cam, P&P heads, P&P intakes and O/R H pipe it Ultraflows get much louder. Ask anyone who has heard my car in person.

Best Chambered muffler on a stock V6 Mac Flowpath
Best flow thru design on a V6 Dynomax Ultraflows or Magnaflows
Best turbo muffler on a V6 Dynomax SuperTurbo ( used on 1996 to 2001 Roush's)

Gotta pay if you wanna play....as the saying goes.

But I 100% agree on the price of them. I pretty much got the borla catback basically right when it came out I paid around 800 for it. Im pretty sure that they are still around that price range

Ive never heard any Macs around here though. Not to many people around my area wit souped up V6s just a small handful
