Re: ???Inake,exhaust leak ???

A tuner will correct the signals the o2 sensor is sending to the computer therefor the light will not come on

Re: ???Inake,exhaust leak ???

its possible for it to stay off for a few months then come back on. Think of that as time to save for a tuner.

Re: ???Inake,exhaust leak ???

Its possible you have something else causing the decrease in gas mileage. Is the air filter clean oil changed every thing like that good to go?

Re: ???Inake,exhaust leak ???

my v-6 has an x-pipe and hallowed out catalitic converters i just hade the codes deleted and im putting a performance coils and 8 millimeter spark plug wires just to burn off as much fuel as possible the great sound has a price you got an ok deal just try and get a big magnet and run it down your pipes if you ever hear something in there to get it to exit out the back thats what i would do for those extra peices that come of the catalytic converters but its not a v-8 so your not wasting that much gas and its not a 4 cylinder so your not saving gas just enjoy the ride!

Re: ???Inake,exhaust leak ???

you don't have a t-lok. It's called a one tire flyer. All v6's do that. And all economy cars

Ford Racing 7.5" 28 Spline Traction - LOK Limited Slip Differential at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!

Its not a top seller because everyone with a v6 bought em a long time ago If you get that and a set of 4.10 gears and have them installed you will think your driving a different car. Its like night and day. You won't believe it.

4.10 Gears for 7.5 Rear end at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!
Thats the gears I would add some bearings when getting them installed. And ya a ford dealer can do it. And they make both tires turn when you get on it. I think you have to put it in reverse and back up for like 10 feet then put it in drive then your good to go. But that should give you a 4 or 5 car length improvement. I highly recommend that you do all of this if your looking for some speed

Re: ???Inake,exhaust leak ???

Thats what i hear. You only need both turning for launches really for the added traction of an extra wheel spinning. I got a GT it already has a t-lok but i am getting some 3.73 gears for it since its a manual. My mechanic said he'd do the gears for about 400 bucks.

Re: ???Inake,exhaust leak ???

and r those 3.73 better than what u got alreasdy? what gears do u have?
and so it'll prob be about $1k for just that in total right parts and labor.

Re: ???Inake,exhaust leak ???

don't get rid of the mufflers (what kind do you have) The reason it took a few seconds is cuz its an automatic if you get a handheld tuner it won't do that and the rest of your shifts will be quicker. And the gears won't make it "smoother" just faster.

Re: ???Inake,exhaust leak ???

idk its just the reg stockers.
and its only got one muffler.
and by the gears being quicker, wouldnt that be worst?
by it shifting faster in other words its going to be changing on low RPM's ?
and by that meaning it wont pick up speed?
