Re: 94 v6 tuner info

You'll have to buy a handheld tuner either way. And how is it a 3.8 if it is stroked?

you can clear and read trouble codes. Adjust shift points. Tune for higher octanes. When it gets dyno tuned they will load it onto your handheld tuner. And save your stock one in case you ever want to go back in case you sell it or something and you can tune for new upgrades.

They fix speedometer for gears and larger or smaller whels they raise the rev limiter and they will boost horsepower. With a good dyno tune i wouldn't doubt you'd get over 15 rwhp

Re: 94 v6 tuner info

You can get an sct x3 from american muscle and they will give you an "off the shelf tune" those won't get you much horsepower. If you go get a dyno tune it will be specifically for your vehicle and the horsepower increase will be much better but you don't have to get an sct brand but i would recommend it.

Re: 94 v6 tuner info

I believe the x-pipe would flow a little smoother, just because of the design. Prob not a noticable difference compared to an H though. As for the tuner, it will remove/raise the speed/rev limiter, but it will not do anything for your speedometer on a 94-95, from what i understand. You will have to get a new speedo gear to match whatever ring & pinion ratio you put in.

Re: 94 v6 tuner info

I've heard good things about VMP tuning. They do custom SCT tuning for v6 mustangs. I almost wonder if it would be just as good to make custom tunes through them. They would probably take all the bored engine components into consideration.

You could buy the tuner and plug n' play to free up some hp, but a good dyno tune at a reputable shop will gain the most power for your car.

Re: 94 v6 tuner info

James RWTD will give your free custom tunes when you order a Diablo Sport Handheld Predator Tuner. You give him a list of your mods. It would be better than the can tunes...
