2006 V6 LT Headers

Ive been looking around for some Longtube headers for my 2006 Mustang but Ive only seen two different makes. Kooks and Macs. Does anyone else make some? If not how are Kooks headers compaired to Macs and vice versa.

Re: 2006 V6 LT Headers

IMO kooks headers are the best headers on the market today. Mac are also very good.

they both have good things. the kooks are stainless and will last forever. the macs are ceramic coated and that's really good for keeping the underhood temps low.

^^^Yah what he said. I don't know if they're exactly necessary, but each to his own. They do look cool and probably contribute some hp's.

Re: 2006 V6 LT Headers

LTs for a fact add hp, but are known for loosing a little low end torque. and you need all you can get with a V6. If you have a stick shift it's no problem. you just launch a at a higher RPM. If you have an auto trans. you may want to get a higher stall Torque converter.
