clutch pedal sags?

my clutch pedal sags below my brake pedal so it looks like they're all at 3 different heights.

i haven't tried cuz its late, but if i raise the clutch up all the way, am i supposed to do this by actually pulling it up all the way in 1st as suggested by this comment?

what i suggested adjust it very little and is the only adjustment you can make to a stock quadrant. all you do it turn off the car and put the car in first, then pull all the way up on the clutch pedal with your toes, then push it back down.

I know how to override if you will the stock adjustment mechanism but it wont last... not very long at all... but it MAY work if you can figure it out as well.

If you crawl up under the dash, lay on your back, you will see the quadrent on your left, and on the back of it you will see the pawl (little gear thing)

push the clutch to the floor with your free hand and then take the other hand (left probably) and pull the end of the quadrent closest to your seat down and continue to hold stress in this manor as you slowly let the clutchpetal out, very slowly a nice smooth motion.

The quadrent MUST move but just keep pressure on it as you was at first when you were pulling the end of the quadrent closest to the driver seat downward and a little out but mostly downward.

at the very end of the clutch petals travel you will hear a click or two you can do this as many times as you want each click takes up a little slack... i had to do it 7 times one day to get it how i wanted it, you want it firm to the touch of the petal NO flop in the cable and you want a half inch of noting before the clutch starts to slip (just go XX mph 55 or so and hold the gas constant (no cruise control) and push the clutch in if you go more than half an inch before the rpms raise your good)

If you EVER touch the underside of the clutch it will totaly unadjust.... and it will unadjust anyway in a day or two most likly... but its worth a shot I guess.
