My Mods So Far

First thanks everyone. I have not post much but I read the threads everyday for the great info provided by all of you.

My mods to date:

CAI from American Muscle
OEM 17in Ford Mustang Mag Rims for Ford Racing with Goodyear Eagle GTs
(happy to have removed the stock 16in chrome rims)
Cats back Magnaflow dual exhaust

A few photos of my work in progress.

What a difference.

Pending Mods:
Rear Dif and gears
Springs and shock
Slotted and drilled rotors (next weekend's project)

Thanks again for all your help guys!

Re: My Mods So Far

nice lookin ride. Screamin yellow is it?

Just some suggestions, perhaps a GT bumper, would really make the rear look good.
paint the calipers yellow when doing the rotors...really sets the car off...just my 2 cents...good luck with modding, keep us updated

Re: My Mods So Far

yeah, looks great. I'd also suggest a shorty antenna. It'll take that mast off the front fender.

Re: My Mods So Far

The stock unit tried to eat my CDs. Had to break the six CD tray to get my discs out. Plus, I wanted MP3 input and HD radio.

The OEM speakers just did not sound very good to say the least.

Re: My Mods So Far

I have quit using the CD player because of that... but I don't feel like changing out all my speakers. I happen to really like the Mach set up, especially how clean it looks.

Re: My Mods So Far

mine eats all CD's. It works alright with one, until you want to eject it, and then it gets stuck near exit

Re: My Mods So Far

Mine would do that every once in a while, like spec said, with the thick burnt discs. I would pound the left side of the console even with the radio, and the cd would come out the rest of the way...now I just say **** it and plug in the ipod. I also like the appearance of the mach system, it's clean and matches the interior, but can be a pita.

Re: My Mods So Far

Sounds like most of you have had your issues with the CD player. The JVC unit I installed had light matching LED so it matches well with the Stangs dash lights.

Re: My Mods So Far

Yah I think all of us with a 460 6 disc have had our fair share of issues. Other than that, I like the Mach system, it's not bad for a stock system, I'd take it over the Monsoon system offered in the 99-02 camaros/firebirds.
