I picked up my 1995 V6 Mustang
today, and I love it! This is the first Mustang I've ever owned, and it's great. Though it's not crazily powerful, I really can't wait to drive it around. It's black with black tinted windows - I will post some photos of it after I wash it and wax it!
I haven't done much to the car yet. The Mustang emblems were missing, but the seller included replacements, so I attached them this afternoon. I also replaced the tires with new ones, since the originals were quite worn. The car has 139,000 km on it, and I bought it from the original owner who never drove it in winters - I live in Toronto, Canada so that's a good selling point!
The biggest problem with this car is that the steering wheel buttons that activate the cruise control are broken. Has anyone successfully swapped out a new wheel assembly? I'm not terribly mechanical, so I'd appreciate some advice on whether or not it's a huge job to do that. I would need to source the wheel (any parts places that are recommended?) and have my mechanic install it.
I love this car! It looks really, really great for a 15 year old vehicle.
