94-98 Header Question

After some searching I see that the 94 - 98 headers are a better design than the 99+.

With 98 being an odd year for the model is there any difference in the headers between 94-97 & the 98 ones?

I guess my main concern would be the EGR tube location.

I am thinking these would compliment the new setup.
And get them coated by Ole Skillet Head.

Well Ole Skillet head says!!!! Actually only the EGR tube was different. The 96-98 are nice flowing design rivaling the shorty aftermarket headers. Al you need ir a EGR delete and you are off and running!!!

Ole Skillet Head would be honored to Ceramic coat your headers for you!!!!

Now just the tube itself or the location on the header?

Would a 99+ EGR tube work on 96-98 headers?????

Due to emissions here I have to keep the EGR.

The location of the bung on the header is different so I dont think the 99+ EGR tube would work do to its different configuration.

Ok,

I had another reply from someone that did a splitport swap & it worked.

I guess I will just have to try it & see.
After I find a set.

Thanks Corey.

What I have heard is that the EGR tube placement was changed in 98 and remained
the same on the 99^ models, but check this. It's weird but Ford sometimes phases
in these changes over time for some reason, and this was one of them AFAIK.
