Re: Motor maching costs?

I used to be able to get a block cleaned bored and new cam bearings and freeze plugs installed for $125 but now the one machine shop around my area charges $300 to do it on a V8.

Re: Motor maching costs?

just be VERY careful who you go to... so many get screwed over in this department. It is very hard to prove that the place that built your motor screwed it up, they just blame it on racing... so make SURE you research BBB complaints local users etc for the right shop that will treat you right.
