wha are their purpose, how much do they run, where can i find them.

i just got a gt... 8.8 rear end with tlok... crappy final drive though

1994 GT, stock gears, stock shifter, stock engine, stock rims (or knock offs).

they make sure both rear wheels get even power so one doesnt spin while the other sits still (as your car does stock)

this gives better traction

they cost 200 or so, get an OEM ford tlok unit for a 7.5 inch rear end.

install is the SAME effort as installing gears~ you have to take out the stock tlok to install gears so... just put the new one back in in its place. should not cost any more for tlok and gears vs just gears or just tlok
