Re: What i need to change heads

definatly get new gaskets when you do it which i'm sure you already knew. Other than that i thought the engines were pretty damn similar cuz you can swap the crank in the two

Re: What i need to change heads

Alright so i went to the parts store to get gaskets and thought i would do some comparing while i was there. The head gaskets for the two will interchange but the intake gaskets are completely different. What do i need to do to make this work?

Isnt 97 F150 4.2 Split port? I KNOW 98 is because I drive one at work.

If thats the case you'll need all the rest of the split port swap stuff.
Upper and lower intake I know, Probably T-body, Fuel injectors and fuel rail as well.
