Rippin it up on the highway

I finally found a way to mount my 3Gs to my dash so I made a video of my commute to work, enjoy!

(I hit about 135 mph)

Were you speeding past those two cops on the shoulder?

I don't think anyone is going to hunt you down because of this video, however they may be watching you closer now... *Mwahahahaha*

They would probably just have to scrape him off the pavement with a scoop shovel.
I've done 140 on the highway on my bike but that was at 2 AM and no traffic at all.

Re: Rippin it up on the highway

I bet that was a rush...can't say I'd do it myself, and if one of those other cars would've switched lanes in front of you, you would've been dunbar.

Yeah it's kind of an addictive rush that I can't kick... I've been driving like this for about a year now, just figured I'd put a video up. Years of playing grand theft auto has done it's damage

Re: Rippin it up on the highway

I get that same feeling after playing GTA4 all weekend but 135 thru traffic is suicidal. After wrecking my last mustang twice flipping my truck over getting big air under it and being thrown from a motorcycle. I learned my lesson. Now i only do 100max on the highway.

please don't blame video games, i hate hearing about how people blame them... i've played gta 3, san andreas and 4, probably enough to beat them each at least twice and i go about 5-10 over the posted limit...

if this is because of video games... please don't play them anymore, cause there is another half of gta that you haven't covered yet

Its hard to resist the urge when a cop pulls you over. I prefer the bat on them in game.

nah i learned after i flipped the truck, the bike came first when a saturn slammed his brakes in front of me whne he saw a radar trap(neither of us where speeding). last two accidents where in yellow mustang and neither crash was my fault. one a deer ran in front me and another some guy in a silverado decided to make a left turn from the right travel lane. there was a left decel lane and 2 travel i was in left travel and he was in right travel lane when he made the left turn. He knew the cop and i got a ticket for failure to control speed to avoid a collision. i was doing 5 over and he was making an illegal turn. i took that to court and got the ticket thrown out hes still trying to sue my insurance.

Re: Rippin it up on the highway

ive done it. doesnt impress me anymore. hit a road course, or even an autox, more fun, legal, and you can act a donkey. But its your life so do what you will with it. hit a full road course and it ONE HELL of a rush. ill have to make a video of my next day autox down in New Orleans next weekend. switch back turns, Chicago boxes, sweepers, slaloms and 85-90 in the straights in an autox! thats fun

I once did 130 within the city limits, with Brent in the car. There wasn't any traffic, though. :pnoid: Don't tell nobody!

Exactly, why else would you roll with 400hp at the wheels?
