STB and subframes

Hey all

I would like to get some subframe connectors and a strut tower brace before i screw up the cars allignment. Would either the stb or subframe connectors void my warrenty? Is there any better company besides MM for a stb and subframes? would these two things help with this annoying creaking sound from my dash when i go over bumps or turn?

Thx Alex

i doubt they will void your warranty in any way. and if you have a vert they will greatly improve handling. MM is a very good company, u could get sub frames from but they are like 450 bucks.
the dash noises well thats just cheap ford interiors.

Sub frame connectors arent going to make the interior quieter... theyll make them loud since it will stiffen the car up a lot more. Get subframe connectors for handling purposes, the STB also helps out a lot for handling... I love mine.

Thumbs up

No subframes won't void the warranty. Actually Ford bolts them on convertiables. I suggest that you have them welded in instead of bolting them in. And a strut tuower brace won't effect your alignment however some comapnies like Kenny Brown their brace requires that you remove the stock plates to mount their STB. Other than that other brands like Maximum Motorsports or Steeda mount near the stock caster plates. And I don't think that a STB will void your warranty either.

Neither will void your warranty. MM is your best bet. The price only goes up from them. If you wanted some nasty ones that work just as good as MM (Note, not any better) you could go with Hans Racecraft SFCs. I believe these are the ones that you would need, unless you have a vert.

As for the Steeda STB, well, it is ok, but, the 2 point didn't seem to do a whole hell of a lot on my car. I kind of wish I had gone with a different brand that had the firewall attachment as well.
