New Best Times

I havn't parted it out just yet. Going for one last big push before I do. I probably will be selling it later this summer but I want to have a lot of fun before that time.

Took it to the track yesterday, opening weekend. AWESOME conditions.. 70*, 40% humidty, barely anyone there.

previous best was 14.91 @ 91

All these times were at full weight with only my 17s on, I wasn't motivated to bring my DR's with me, although they would've helped as I was spinning a tad off the line. Big mods are in the mail...new records my be set

Cool.
That puts you out of the Auto arena, and leaves it wide open for me.

Thank you.......

you tell us your secret. That sure is a lot of hp and A LOT of torque for such small mods..not to mention your trap isnt showing your power at all. That is more torque than most cammed and full bolt on 5speeds....

Not calling you a liar but no way 183RWHP 224RWTQ with Mac cai, asp udp, exhaust on an auto.

I will take a wild stab in the dark & you are quoting peak numbers that were as the convertor flashed & spiked. Also unless the convertor was completely locked & the entire pull done in 3rd gear they are really not comparable to others.

I have a specific tune setup for the dyno that sets all of that.

Ahh man, why are you having to sell your car? This concerns me deeply, is everything okay?

Awesome times anyway though, maybe you can get low 14s with the 5-spd!

1. yes there is a way. i am proof. i can promise you that is all i have. enclosed are the dyno sheets. both corrected and uncorrected. 183/224 was what i ACTUALLY put down that day. 176/216 was w/ the SAE correction.

2. the entire pull WAS done in third gear. the guy did something (i think he had his foot on the brake) to not make it downshift when he took off from approx. 65 mph in third and went until 5k rpms. b/c at 65 it will downshift into 2nd if it is floored, but he did something to not make it downshift.

i guess a tune and a chip will help me out more than i would expect then.

if i had one, i would tell ya. i dont however. all i did was bolt on the stuff and put it on a dyno. sorry to dissapoint you, but thats it.

i promise i'm not bull****tin anyone, what i said as far as mods is all i have. i dont see a point in keeping it from anyone b/c anyone can get any part for these cars so keeping mods a secret, to me, is kinda pointless.

here are the sheets, again:
