ey wus up,if yall recall in my first post
intake,exhaust leak??
i had totally diff tires sizes in the back low pro and the front pretty thick ones right, ok i got that fixed, got new tires all around.
now,my question is this.
Can i put foe example,18x9 in front and 18x10 rear?
reason i ask is because will my traction light go off, u kno the lil green spinning tire?????
another question, mines AT what does OD mean on the dash?
its on my gear shifter thingy????
yes you can put wider tires on the rear, as long as all four tires are the same height it won't set the traction control light off. now if you have the light on now and all four tires are the same height. then you have something else wrong that needs to be fixed.
OD=over drive. the button by the shifter is to turn over drive off. usually when the OD light is on the dash. it means that over drive has been turned off. next time you drive the car. press the button by the shifter and see if the light goes off. if it does leave it alone.
1) Shifting - don't try and shift manually, leave that to the transmission
2) Overdrive - just raises your rpm's and uses more gas, doesn't make your car any faster, just louder due to the increase in rpms.
These are some pics of the wreck about a month ago maybe less....im still waiting on the damn insurance to pay for this ****.....getting a new paint job =) white w/ blue matalic
next after this is the mods
igot an idea of what first
CAI,gears,t-loc,tune
after that save money for my exhaust cuz it sounds like **** its not even funny, lol, ill post a vid of it soon
overdrive is simply a 4th gear, just like 5th gear is in a manual mustang. It is nothing more than just another transmission gear. The reason they call it overdrive is the gear for 4th gear in you car is smaller like .68:1 ratio~
aw that sux i was thinking it would save me gas ha
man this thing is sucking up the gas its not funny 2 days ago i had a full tank, right now i have 1/2 a tank....well to bad ha ....
another thing?
whenever i buy the gears and t-loc and take it down to a ford dealership , will they tune the ecu or whtvr to those gears?
or do they just put them on and thats it ?
