i have a 2004 auto v6 stock mustang. why did i loose?
i would have to say that he was definately not stock. i raced an si w/ a fart cannon, (thats all i could tell he had) from a 65 roll and from 65-100 i put about 4 cars on him. dont know how i did that, driver must have sucked, but he did his little flyby afterwards. after he finally decided to slow down, i got back on side of him and he didnt look over even after i paced him for like a minute.

I dunno in the past first-posts like these were always trolls trying to start crap..

I'm just wary is all..

PS a civic SI should beat a stock v6 automatic mustang, if it doesn't the driver really sucks
we haven't had ANY problems with trolls...?

Besides, this is the world's worst troll if it is one. And he picked a poor site to troll on.... lol. We're all too cool to worry about that ****.

eh dont worry about it man. Just be happy with the car you have and let people talk their **** to make up for their small dick. If you are serious about it and can afford it you can work some serious magic with your sixer

Yeah, but not a whole lot. You will notice for sure, I think. I only have duals, and I think I picked up a little bit. A lot of people will tell you it's all in your head, but you'll know if it's easier to spin your tire(s).

You do NOT need the 73MM MAF unless you are boosting

No. That would be pushing it.

One thing you will learn about modding is that a manufacturer's claim is one thing: Bull****. They never add up, never will, and were most likely taken from a GT in the first place, before they inflated the numbers.

Not with a stock car (the only time you need a chip is when you do internal engine work, add a power adder, or change the gears inside your rear differinteal and you have an automiatc

My advice is to read through the V6 Tech forum on this site and look at the stickies. Read others questions and then you will have a better grasp on where to go with your car

don't get the 73 mm mass air system, all you need is a straight shot cai. the mass air sensor on a stock mustang is perfectly adequate for a lightly modded or stock engine. all that a new mass air sensor will do for your car is make you run lean. NOT good. if you can change your order, do so. if not, when it arrives, only install the filter and the induction piping, save the sensor for later

cai + duals won't give you +20 hp. what they will do is allow your pony to breathe better, setting the stage for future mods. they will give you 10-12 hp at most, as well as a pleasant sounding mustang. throw in an underdrive pulley and you might see as much as 15-17 hp total. still a good start

also, remember to check cali emissions laws to see what exhaust setups will be legal there. i know for a fact that long tube headers aren't street legal in cali, as well as certain flow thru muffler systems... but you shouldn't have any problems having a set of gt takeoffs put on, that shouldn't cost you more than $500 all said

hope that was helpful

that'll be 10 HP..

get the pulleys too dude. another 5 hp right there. Get your gearing, no added horse power but it'll be better shifting, plus a T-lok, then to finish that off.. get a chip so your computer will know what's going on.

THEN! If you wanna say "**** it!" Get some nitrous, Zim can fill you in.
