car's out of the shop

finally got my car back. was without it for 2 days.

had the spark plugs changed
fuel filter
new master cylinder
tune-up
control arm bushing replaced
caliper bracket replaced

cost me a nice arm and leg, but at least its running well again.

PS. before anyone says that i could change my own plugs and fuel filter... i know i can. i have to tools, but its 106* out down here, i just finished w/ finals yesterday, and i just didnt really want to do it and since my brakes were getting redone in the shop, i just said screw it and them do it all.

so now i think im ready for my road trip finally

I have a mini-fridge for my car. It kicks so much ***. Does 75 degrees plus or minus ambient temp. Only problem is while it's seatbelted in and facing sideways it can't be opened. And if it's opened and we hit a bump, all the bottles or cans fall out. I can't face it forward because the fan in the back gets blocked. I can't think of away to install the damn thing, so it sits in my room keeping a 12 of Corona and jar of green olives cold for an emergency.
