#39 my friend. I could have got a set of #42's and the adapters for 200 but wanted the #39's.

Re: 19Delta's M112 Build

Ok I've got a huge question. Will the internals from a '93 XR7 work in my engine?

Re: 19Delta's M112 Build

The cougar...did the supercharged 3.8 version come with forged internals? I'd guess yes since the supercoupe did and those internals work to an extent.

Re: 19Delta's M112 Build

I hope so, I can get the whole car for 600. I did some research and the compression ratios are a little different in those than in my car. Would that matter to an extent?

Re: 19Delta's M112 Build

How different, because isn't the our 3.8's 9:3:1? What's the rx7's 3.8 9:0:1, I don't know. I thought I remembered seeing the supercoupe's compression ratio 9:1.

The higher the compression the smaller the volume of the compressed fuel/air, which will make for more power, but will also lead to more detonation and higher temps.

Re: 19Delta's M112 Build

Less. I've bought all my parts for around 1200. Labor will run me around 4-500 (counting dyno tune) since a guy I know that works on nothing but mustangs has a dyno, etc, etc. You'll end up having to get forged internals either way, so I didn't even count that.

WOW. I would think it be just as much since you had to buy a corba supercharger.

Re: 19Delta's M112 Build

No way, you can get a used one for around 300-500. I bought mine for less than 400. It was the other parts that made it expensive i.e. adapter plate, maf, fuel pump, and injectors.

Re: 19Delta's M112 Build

Ok, got my injectors in yesterday. I take it that I have EVE1's in my car currently, and the ones I have are EVE6's, so I'll have to get those adapters from AM.com, correct?

Where did mazda get into this conversation? You mean the xr7 cougar, it was like 8:2:1/8:5:1 depending on year?

Haha, yeah, it's the xr7. The RX7 was a rotary engine if memory serves me correct.

Re: 19Delta's M112 Build

reading this whole thread made me want to go with a kenne bell supercharger or a whipple after i do my 4.3 stroker kit for my v6. does anyone know what power i could get with that setup? cause it sounds like it would be a ton cheaper than a twin turbo kit.

The Bosch's should be EV6's...then you can get the Ev1->EV6 adapter kit and have 2 extra, lol.
