June3rd Test N Tune

june 3rd, if all goes as planned, we will finally have some new times with the current setup. its scheduled as "vette fest" but a guy that goes there says its usually empty. its 45 to get in(car and driver) and he said one night he got 10 runs in, and he has never had any less than 6 on a packed night.

so we shall have a vote to see what you guys "think" i will get and what i do get. those who are right will get "benchracers of the month" awards.

meh im not voting not familier enough with eclipses let alone what kinda power they make,etc so yeh. btw ive never seen a stock gt pull a mid 13...

not everyone wants to go fast...which would make up more buyers then anything..so yeh. but I highly doubt your in the last 2 options, and possibly the 3rd so....i dunno

w00t so TimPryor is the only one who voted, and has chosen mid to low 13's. which is pretty darnded close, seeing one of the guys in my club went to the track wed and ran a 13.2 with the same Evo16g and supporting mods, minus a few goodies i have(FMIC, Better exhaust manifold) in a hardtop(spyder is 80lbs heavier, big whoop)

test n tune is coming soon, i cant wait. Thursday night my Springs come in, so i might pull a all nighter putting on the Tien H-Tech springs(1" Drop) with Tokico Illumina 5way adjustable shocks, along with new Rotors and pads all around(rears are cracking, fronts have hot spots on them).

well................................not going.

the plan was fedex drops off my lowering springs today, i get them installed by end of tonight(12 at the latest), then wake up friday morning and head out to the track at 3.

so Fed ex drops the springs off at 11. i head off to work feeling good, get off at 6:30. i call my buddy over. we lay out all the tools well need, i got the spring compressor from a neighbor. i reach inside my glovebox for my wheel lock key.........

ITS NOT ****ING THERE!!!!!!!!!!!

so we search the whole garage for hours and nothing. i go to every auto store still open, nothing. pep boys had something similar(6 sided star) but it had a flat spot on one of the sides and didnt work.

so now i have no way to take the wheels off.

if you knew me youd know my track horror stories. first venture was a speeding ticket. last time i got carpool lane violation(350 bucks) and the alt died and had to tow it(150). so im thinking with my luck, ill have a flat on the way there or back, and no way to take the wheel off, ill have to ****ing tow it again. and now they want me to work till 3:30 tomorrow.

so ill prolly go next week. im so ****ing pissed at the recent turn of events, it sucks that one simple thing ****s up the whole rotation. im going to every auto/tire place tomorrow and hoping they can take the locks off.

im never putting wheel locks on ever.

got the wheel locks taken off today around 3. waited till my buddy got off work. we started working on the car at 6 and finished at about 10:30. pain in the ****ing ***, doing full turbo swaps are cakewalk compared to suspension ****.

it was all worth it though, ill post up pics later this weekend.
