egr delete kit

Ok so today i started up my car FINNALLY everything it 100% finished well cept for few dressup things but w/e i noticed w/ my EGR valve ( i take it the egr valve is the can looking peice almost like behind the TB ) was whistling like there was an air leak came to conclusion that maybe the gasket came un-compressed and all i need to do is buy a new 1 no problem. but i was wondering what my advantages would be if i went with an EGR Valve Delete Kit

yeah i ran into big problems about a month ago i had to do a complete top end swap, started her up this evning and i heard a loud whistle followed by a very rough idle almost sounded like an old muscle car it was idling very hesitant and the exhaust tone was totally differant then what it usually is. so popped the hood back up and i could hear an air leak from somewhere so of course checked all my connections, all my hoses ect ect till i came to the IAC where i felt some air coming out of, covered it with my hand and the noise of air stopped a bit. so after about 25min-30min of checking everything it has to be that

There is an evaporative emissions (EVAP) return tube and a vacuum tube right in that area. ( on a 2000) .

i took it off cleaned up the surfaces on the motor and on the peice, got a new gasket bolted it back on and no problems. so who knows what happened it was on the right way. i guess the gasket that was on there was just bad so air found its way out which caused it to whistle
