speedo stuff with gears

Hey, I have a quick question. If I installed 3.73's and a posi unit before I got a chip or speedo cal for my car (2002 V6) how much would the speedo be off by?

Also, how do you determine if a gear set is actually 3.73? I didn't get the original packaging with my gears. I'm sure they are, but I was just curious as to how one would figure this out.

You just need the chip not the speedo to correct your speedo and remove the speedlimiter so you can go faster than 80

As far as telling I dunno I know how to tell with the gears inside the car.... possilby some numbers on the gear?

if you have a manual you dont have to get a chip, you can get a speed calibration unit.

it increases as you speed up, but its on average 7mph, and it adds miles to your car that you didnt drive since the odometer also moves faster lol.
